Tom, I wanted to thank you for a great service. This weekend in Grand Isle, La. we fished the 83rd tarpon rodeo. I looked at the site on Wednesday evening and made my decision based strictly on the info I had from Hilton's Realtime-Navigator. After 11/2 days of fishing, we returned to the scales with a Blue Marlin weighing 723#. It will be the 3rd largest Marlin EVER caught off the state of Louisiana. We tagged another small blue and had the first place yellowfin at 150#.
I chose the area to fish because I was looking for an area that would not have a lot of boats. Here in Louisiana, we all fish platforms and going in search of a "rip" in open water is not normal. I felt I would find it and if so, I would be alone. I was right on both fortunately.
For a weekend in which not many fish were caught, I am more than convinced that your site made it possible for us to do so well. Thanks again, Capt. Shannon L. Pecot
P.S. Since subscribing to your site, I have used it exclusively and I refuse to fish where the water does not look good on Hilton. In the last 3-weekends, We have caught 5 BLue Marlin, 2 WHite marlin, and a ton of tuna, dolphin and wahoo.
